Warriors to help tsunami relief fund

January 20, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Ontario Warriors News Release

On behalf of our management, coaching staff, players, and dance team, the ABA Ontario Warriors professional basketball team sends our thoughts and prayers to victims of the recent disaster in Southeast Asia.

As the recent tsunami devastation continues to take its toll, we can't help but wish to reach out and help in some way. We will donate all proceeds from our January 25th and January 31st home games against the Long Beach Jam to the American Red Cross for tsunami victims.

We're asking and encouraging all of our fans and our neighboring communities to join the Warriors in making a positive impact.

Won't you join us with this undertaking on the 25th and the 31st by purchasing a $5.00 ticket to the games and/or a donation of any amount to the WMG Charitable Foundation."

The ABA League Office has started the ball rolling by buying 100 tickets to be distributed to Inland Empire area youth leagues with the proceeds going to this effort. Together and individually we can all make a difference.

Thank You In Advance For Your Time,

Sincerely,
Tonee McClinton
