Knights Get First ABA Win

January 20, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Atlanta Vision News Release

Atlanta, GA. The week started with an historic event for The Reigning Knights of Georgia as they posted the first win in the team's history with a victory over cross-town rival Atlanta Vision, 105-98. According to GM Rufus Greer, "It was a great night and long coming. It was a terrific ballgame with the lead being exchanged several times, but the Knights would not be denied. We played spirited basketball and played well together. After months of not closing out games, the Knights got their elusive first win that hopefully will lead to many more wins this season and beyond."

In further news, The Reigning Knights of Georgia will be at Barnacles at Gwinnett Place from 5-7PM on Friday, Jan 21 and then at Hooters in Gwinnett on Monday, Jan 24 from 6-8PM for a meet and greet with the fans. This is your opportunity to meet the players and coaches of The Reigning Knights of Georgia and get autographs and win prizes such as T-shirts and tickets to upcoming games.

On Friday night, February 18th at Meadowcreek High School Arena on Steve Reynolds Blvd, The Reigning Knights of Georgia will have its first ever FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT. We want to show our appreciation for your support and to award fans with another fun and entertaining night. We will have our new Knight Ryders at the game as well as giveaways all night long. Some gifts include t-shirts, authographed merchandise, hats, mugs, free meals to area restaurants and tickets to the 2005-2006 season. We hop to see you there and GO KNIGHTS!
