Basketball Ontario supports "Be One"

Toronto, Ont. Basketball Ontario and Canada Basketball announced Basketball Ontario's support of the "Be One" national membership program. As a demonstration of this support, Basketball Ontario will, effective immediately, sponsor the membership of its coaches into the "Be One" program so they can access Community Coaching resources, particularly those pertaining to FIBA rules. The ABA is supportive of both organizations.
"Canada Basketball is excited to welcome Basketball Ontario into "Be One," commented Canada Basketball Executive Director and CEO Fred Nykamp. "The "Be One" national membership program is driving the sport of basketball in our country to a whole new level and will position Canada to become a world leader in basketball from community recreational leagues for children to our performance on the international stage. Specifically, Canada Basketball wishes to recognize the vision and leadership being exercised by our provincial and territorial basketball organizations that are supporting these very significant and positive changes to our game by joining "Be One."
