Warriors' Perricone named ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week

Toronto, ON - The Canadian Hockey League today announced that Joey Perricone of the Moose Jaw Warriors is the ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week after posting a 2-0-0-0 record with a 0.50 goals against average, .983 save percentage and a shutout in two starts last week.
The overage netminder who hails from San Juan Capistrano, California, posted a 33-save shutout and was first star in a 1-0 win over the Saskatoon Blades on Tuesday and followed up with 26 saves and a second star effort in a 6-1 win over the Vancouver Giants on Friday. The fifth year netminder improved his season record to 20-11-4-4 with a 2.70 goals against average and .914 save percentage in 40 games.
Raffaele D'Orso of the Val-d'Or Foreurs was the QMJHL nominee after holding a 2.28 goals against average, .949 save percentage and one shutout and Mike Murphy of the Belleville Bulls was the OHL nominee after posting a 2-0-0-0 record with a 1.00 goals against average and .966 save percentage in two games.
