
Warriors Fall to Rock in Season Finale

VANCOUVER BC - The Vancouver Warriors closed out their inaugural season back in downtown Vancouver by falling to the Toronto Rock 15-9 in National Lacrosse League action on Friday night.
Mitch Jones paced all Warriors scorers with five assists while Keegan Bal finished off the season strong, recording four goals in the finale and giving him 32 on the campaign.
Logan Schuss also netted a pair for Vancouver, with Brandon Goodwin, Tony Malcom and Dallas Wade with his first career NLL goal rounding out the Warrior's scoring.
With the defeat, Vancouver finishes their season with a record of 5-13, a marked improvement from the previous season, when the previous franchise finished with a 2-16 record.
