
Warriors Fall in Overtime, Game Three Sunday

EL PASO, Texas-The Oklahoma Warriors saw a two-goal lead slip away in a 4-3 overtime loss to the El Paso Rhinos on Saturday at El Paso County Events Center.
Geno McEnery scored in the first period and Anthony Cafarelli doubled the lead to 2-0 in the second period. El Paso went on to rally for three goals in a span of 2:38 late in the period.
Sebastian Speck tied the game after a furious Warriors push in the third period. Speck, the rookie forward, has three goals over his last four games.
Each team recorded 32 shots on goal. Daniel Duris made 28 saves in the loss for Oklahoma.
The playoff loss is the Warriors' first such result since the move to Oklahoma City in 2022. The team went 9-0 on its Robertson Cup Championship run last season. The Warriors franchise is now 3-2 in playoff overtime decisions.
