HERRIMAN, Utah - The Utah Warriors have added Sebastian Pearson to their staff as Lead Performance Manager.

Pearson will lead the Warriors' strength and conditioning efforts, and will be responsible for developing all physical preparation aspects of the Warriors' MLR side as well as coordinating the conditioning of the Warriors Pathway programs.

"I am delighted the Utah Warriors have been able to secure Seb as our strength and conditioning lead coach," said Head Coach Greg Cooper. "He is undoubtedly a person with the professional credentials, commitment and character to grow the physical development of the team to the higher levels we need to achieve. As head coach, l am extremely excited about the prospect of working with Seb and welcome him to the Warriors family."

Pearson comes to the Warriors after acting as Strength and Conditioning Coach at Rugby Canada since 2021. Before joining Rugby Canada, he worked with Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge as well as Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. He also spent several years playing rugby at the professional and national levels.

"To say I'm thrilled to be joining the Utah Warriors for the upcoming season is a massive understatement," said Pearson. "Having spent time in Utah and meeting my wife while working at Weber State, Utah feels like home. I'm incredibly excited to be joining such a talented group of players and coaches, and I look forward to getting started and helping push the team to that next level and bringing home the MLR shield."

The addition of Pearson to the organization comes as the Warriors round out their staff ahead of the 2024 season. He will work alongside Cooper to enhance the physical fitness of the team in the pursuit of an MLR Championship.
