
Wardogs Announce 2003 Radio/TV Announcers

Columbus, GA - The Columbus Wardogs have announced their radio and TV announcers for the upcoming 2003 season. The broadcast team consists of Justin Cazana, Mike Sammond and DJ Jones.
The Wardogs will broadcast all 16 games on Boomer 95.3 FM. In addition, all eight home games will be televised on tape delay on WCGT Channel 16. The television station will air each home game the following Monday night at 8:00pm ET. Selected road games may also be added to the TV schedule.
Justin Cazana will handle the radio and TV play-by-play duties for all eight Wardogs home games. Cazana has been a sportscaster in the Columbus market for several years, working as a sports anchor and reporter at WTVM Channel 9, as well as serving as a radio announcer for the Columbus RedStixx baseball team and Auburn baseball team. Cazana currently works as an announcer for Fox Sports Net and Comcast Sports covering a wide variety of sports in both the ACC and SEC.
Wardogs President and GM Mike Sammond will handle the radio duties for the Wardogs eight road games. The former WRBL Channel 3 and CNN Headline Sports anchor has over ten years of sports play-by-play experience.
Wardogs VP of Football Operations DJ Jones returns for his third season as the Wardogs color commentator on radio and TV. The former Georgia and NFL player will provide his analysis for all 16 games. In addition to his duties with the Wardogs, Jones currently hosts a sports talk show every weekday on WRCG 1420 AM.
