BEAVERCREEK - The Dayton Warbirds today announced that Krispy Kreme donuts has entered into an exciting sponsorship partnership with the team. The only Dayton area Krispy Kreme location is at 2001 E. Dorothy Ln. in Kettering. Krispy Kreme will he helping to host an exciting halftime program for Warbird fans amongst other exciting programs with the team. "It is nice to support an organization that is family oriented and provides fun," said George Ray, General Manager of the Kettering Krispy Kreme location. "Krispy Kreme is about fun, and anything we can be associated with that is fun is just âicing on the cake' for us," Ray added. The East Dorothy Lane shop has been in business for six years. "We are glad to have them on board," said Warbirds Sales/Marketing Representative Hector Gonzalez. "Since they are the only one in the area it is important for us to get with a company wanting to expend in this area." Ray said that partnering with the Warbirds is just one more way to game market and name recognition for his establishment. "It's the name (Warbirds) that helps us," Ray said. Gonzalez said the team hopes to expand its partnership with Krispy Kreme in the future. "In the future our relationship is only going to get bigger," said Gonzalez. The Dayton Warbirds, LLC is the parent club for the Dayton Warbirds. The Warbirds are members of the National Indoor Football League, which has 22 member teams in the United States.
