Dayton Bulldogs News Release
DAYTON, OH-The Bulldogs' trip home must have been a sad one following Saturday's 49-31 loss to the Charleston Sandsharks.
After the first quarter, the Bulldogs led with a score of 13-0, but the Sandsharks tied the game before halftime by scoring 25 points in the second quarter. The second half was less productive for the Bulldogs, who only scored six points in the fourth quarter.
QB/WR Anthony Tyus scored four passing touchdowns, meeting up with DB/WR Eric Samuels, WR/S Lance Wilson, and WR Deshawn Jones. Wilson contributed two touchdown catches.
K Jeff Hubbard added the rest of the points. Though he missed some points, he outnumbered them by the points he did make.
