Walla Walla Sweets News Release

WALLA WALLA, Wa. - Since the club's founding in 2009, the Walla Walla Sweets have become the Valley's premier choice for live summer entertainment. A vital part of that success has been the dozens of game-day and stadium employees on the IC Crew, the official game-day operations team of the Walla Walla Sweets. The IC Crew has been the lead in creating a fan-friendly and fun environment since Opening Day 2010.

Working for the Sweets on the IC Crew has become a fantastic part-time opportunity for high school and college students, teachers and retirees, among others. Whether it is a vital part of building a resume for future career success, or an enjoyable way to earn some extra cash outside in the beautiful Walla Walla summer nights, Sweets Baseball is a fantastic work environment.

For community members interested in working in an engaging and fun environment, where customer service and attention to detail are among the most valued qualities in a Sweets team member, the Sweets will host a Job Fair on Saturday, March 30 from 9 AM - 12 PM at the Holiday Inn Express, 1433 West Pine Street in Walla Walla, WA. Attendees will:

. Have the opportunity to learn more about what working a Sweets game will be like.

. Be able to meet team executives responsible for hiring, and ask questions about the team and the work opportunity - potential team members interview the leaders!

. Interview for positions in the game-day operations, customer service and food and beverage departments.

The Job Fair is free to attend. Professional dress is required (no shorts, open-toe shoes or cut-offs), and attendees are asked to come prepared with a formal resume, and copies of their Walla Walla County food handlers permit and Washington State Class LCB Class 12 Mixologist Permit (if applicable).

"We take great pride in our track record of providing paid jobs to dozens of talented Walla Walla friends and neighbors each summer," said Sweets vice-president and general manager Zachary Fraser. "Even more gratifying are the number of former team members who have used their start with the Sweets as a spring-board to full-time opportunities in a number of fields, both locally and around the country. I invite talented, hard-working and service-oriented people to come meet us on March 30 and learn more about being a part of our team."

For more information or to pre-register and ensure an interview, please email stephanie@wallawallasweets.com. In order to interview, candidates must fill out an official job application, which can be found here . For complete job descriptions, please visit http://www.wallawallasweets.com/club/jobs/.
