Tulsa Talons News Release
The Tulsa Talons have been assigned quarterback Michael Wall by the Arena Football 2 (af2) league office, the team announced today.
Wall, a 6-4, 210-pound quarterback, saw limited action in 2003 serving as Craig Strickland's backup. He completed 4 of 5 passes for 29 yards and one touchdown while rushing 9 times for 16 yards and 2 scores. Wall was a four-year letter winner at the University of Tulsa from 1997-2000. In his collegiate career, Wall passed for 2,206 yards and 13 touchdowns in 26 games.
"I'm very excited," Talons head coach Ken Matous said. "I've heard nothing but good things about Michael Wall. He's a returning player showing a lot of promise. Skip Foster said that if he was still in Tulsa, Michael Wall would have been the first guy he signed."
Wall joins 11 others who have signed on with the Talons for the 2004 season.
Season tickets for the 2004 season are now on sale, starting at just $66! Call 918-664-4453 for more information, or log on to the Tulsa Talons website at www.tulsatalons.com.
