Keep reminding people that it's not too late to sign up. Urge any new Walkers to register with Walk Central at http://www.jdrf.org/ . Or simply show up and register at the event. Registration starts at 8AM!

Important Walk Information
Walk Day is TOMORROW. Thank you all for all the hard work! I wanted to just give you a bit more information for walk day.
Earn some great incentives:
Remember - Raise $100 to get your 2008 JDRF Walk t-shirt. All registered walkers will get a ticket to the June 19th, Fresno Fuego Soccer game. Additional tickets can be purchased for $5 each. Raise $500 and get your name in a drawing for tickets to the 2008-2009 Fresno Falcon's Hockey.
Parking Fee $3, Woodward Park - there is a $3 fee per vehicle, so you'll want to car pool.
* We will be set up at the Mountain View Shelter. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. Breakfast will be bagels, race rolls provided by Great Harvest Bread, and fruit provided by Hometown Buffet & coffee donated from Starbucks.
Music will be provided by Music Spectrum. Visit the kids corner, where we'll have all types of kids arts and crafts. Enjoy the entertainment of several local mascots - Freddie Falcon,Scorcher, Little Caesar, and George from Children's Hospital Central California.
Information Booth
The information booth will have the following:
* Walk Route Maps
* $5 JDRF items for sale - such as sneaker car magnets, sneaker pins, and beanie babies for a cure.
First Aid Tent
Children's Hospital staff will be covering the first aid table. Should anyone feel they are low go to the first aid tent where they will have meters, juice and glucose tabs.
Vendor Tables
Make sure to visit the vendor tables to get information on their newest products. We'll have reps from:
* Omni Pod - the first insulin pump with no tubing
* Accu-Chek
* Mini Pharmacy & Medical Supplies
* Trial net
Lunch will be provided by Save Mart. When you return there will be hot dogs, soda & chips for lunch. Moonlight catering will provide their grilling skills! Save Mart has also donated all the water and soda for our walk. Feeling a little tired after that walk - enjoy a can of FRS Healthy energy drink, provided by FRS. (Please note that FRS Healthy energy drinks contains a small amount of caffeine, about the amount that is in a cup of green tea, but you may prefer your child to not drink it).
