
Wahoos Raise over $5k for Autism Pensacola

The Blue Wahoos raised over $5,000 for Autism Pensacola today by auctioning off special game-worn jerseys during tonight's game against the Jacksonville Suns on Autism Awareness Night.
Additionally, Doug Baldwin, wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks was on hand to sign autographs and throw out a ceremonial first pitch before a sold out crowd of 5,038. It was the 31st sellout of the season. Baldwin was honored prior to the game with a Blue Wahoos jersey and a video on the videoboard.
As for the game, Jacksonville won 6-1 to stake claim to the Golden Skillet for clinching the season series over the Wahoos in the I-10 Panhandle Series.
The fun continues at Pensacola Bayfront Stadium with a Family Sunday tomorrow at 4:05 p.m. Kids get to run the bases after the game and participate in Family Toss both compliments of McDonald's. You can also catch all the action on My 35 with Dan Shugart and Greg Litton. As always, you can hear it on 1450 ESPN Pensacola beginning with the Pensacola Motorsports Pregame show at 3:45 p.m.
