HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Milwaukee Brewers and Huntsville Stars have made a roster move prior to tonight's series opener against Birmingham. Outfielder Scott Krieger has been released by the organization.

The 25-year-old was batting .300 (12-40) with two extra-base hits in 15 games with the Stars this season. He was placed on the disabled list on July 2 (retroactive to June 27) after being promoted from High-A Brevard County on June 9.

The Stars active roster is at 25, the Southern League limit.
