Waco Marshals announce dance team try-outs

Waco, TX.-The Waco Marshals of the National Indoor Football League are pleased to announce try-outs for the 2004 Diamond Deputies dance team which will be held Saturday, February 21st at 10 am at the Marrs McLean Gymnasium on the Baylor University Campus (1312 S. 5th Street).

Registration will begin at 10 am and try-outs will run from 10:00 am until 4 pm with lunch provided. Dancers are asked to wear proper dance team apparel, bring a bottle of water and a towel. Dancers will be taught a short routine to be performed in front of a panel of judges.

Dancers must be over the age of 18 with a strong background in dance. Try-outs will cost $35 payable in cash or money order and dancers will receive a complimentary t-shirt. Dancers are asked to bring a head shot or similar photo to the try-out. The Diamond Deputies will perform at every home game and attend weekly practices starting in March. They will also be expected to make appearances in the community throughout the season.

The Marshals open their season at home on March 12, 2004 at 7pm against the Lake Charles LandSharks. Season tickets for all 7 home games of the 2004 season are currently on sale. Season ticket prices are VIP/Floor $161, Box/Middle Balcony $105 and End Zone and Concrete Balcony $70.
