Horsemen Fan Day set for February 28

Lexington, KY, February 19, 2004 â Horsemen fans will get a chance to come out and meet the players, Fillies, and Spike in Rupp Arena on Saturday, February 28, as Lexington Horsemen Fan Day is back for the 2004 season. This year's Fan Day will also include the Horsemen's "Pick Your Seat" promotion, which will allow fans who purchase season tickets at the event to go into Rupp Arena and select the exact location of their seats.
From 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, fans will be able to go onto Quantrell Field in Rupp Arena to meet the Horsemen â players, Fillies, and Spike â and get autographs and photos. Fans in attendance will also be able to sign up for contests and drawings for free prizes, sponsored by the Lexington Herald-Leader.
Fans who purchase season tickets at Fan Day will be able to go into the Rupp Arena stands and, with the assistance of Horsemen staff, pick the exact seats that they would like to sit in for the 2004 season.
The Horsemen finished their inaugural season with a 9-6 record and a trip to the playoffs, where they were defeated in the first round by eventual 2003 NIFL Champion Ohio Valley.
