Wachusett Dirt Dawgs News Release
The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs baseball club has an exciting week of baseball planned at Doyle Field in Leominster, MA. The team stands at 2-2 on the season and looks to improve over the course of their upcoming 3 game home stand. The Dirt Dawgs staff has three exciting promotional nights planned for the stretch.
The week kicks off on Tuesday, July 10th as the Dirt Dawgs host the Worcester Bravehearts in their inaugural trip to Leominster. June 10th is Woo Ball welcome night to bring in the I-190 rivalry at Doyle field. Distinguished members of the Bravehearts front office will be in attendance such as Bravehearts owner Dave Peterson, known as "Peterman" to the citizens of Worcester County. Jennifer Flanagan, the Massachuetts state Senator for the Worcester and Middlesex districts will throw out our first pitch. Flanagan was born and raised in Leominster, making her the perfect representative of the I-190 rivalry.
The festivities continue on Wednesday, July 11th when the Nashua Silver Knights come to town. The Dirt Dawgs will be hosting a "Ladies Knight" promotion on the 11th. Exciting elements of the evening include 2-for-1 tickets along with special donations from businesses such as Curves and 31. Our national anthem singer for the evening is Paula Davis Butler. She currently resides in Leominster, MA and graduated from UMass Lowell with a degree in music.
The exciting week wraps up on Thursday, July 12th with Dad's day at Doyle. Join the Dirt Dawgs players and staff as they honor the sacrifices their fathers have made so they can enjoy the game they love. We'll celebrate Father's Day a few days early with numerous dad-centric giveaways.
With so many exciting promotions planned, it is sure to be a week you don't want to miss at Doyle Field. Ticket prices are $4.50 for adults, $4.00 for seniors, $3.00 for kids aged 5-14 and there is no charge for kids under 5! Whether you join us in the new beer garden, or grab a hot dog at concessions make sure you make the trip to catch some great baseball along with some exciting some promotions. Go Dawgs!
