Great Falls Voyagers News Release
Great Falls, MT-The Voyagers scored a single run in each of the first four innings and snapped a two-game losing streak with an 8-3 victory over Missoula Sunday afternoon at Centene Stadium.
Playing its first day game of the new Pioneer League season, Great Falls (5-2) used the long ball to open the scoring. Craig Dedelow scorched his second homer as a professional deep to right-center for a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first. In the second, the Voyagers scored another two-out run. Hanleth Otano reached base with a single lined into right. Otano advanced to second on an errant pick-off attempt and moved to third on a wild pitch. Tyler Frost followed with a triple to right-center that eventually reached the wall. Great Falls plated an unearned run in the third on a Justin Yurchak double to left. The Voyagers made it 4-0 with a run in the fourth. Max Dutto walked to lead off the inning and later ended up at second on a wild pitch. Otano immediately brought Dutto home on a double spanked to the wall in left.
Missoula (3-4) finally cracked the scoreboard with a two-run sixth. With one out, Eduardo Diaz walked. Gabriel Maciel hit into a fielder's choice with no out recorded on the force attempt at second. With two outs in the inning and the bases loaded, Keshawn Lynch lined a single into left-center that cut the Voyagers lead in half at 4-2.
The Osprey made it 4-3 after scoring an unearned run in the top of the seventh. The home half of the inning then provided Great Falls with some breathing room. A hit batter, a walk, and a single to left from Nate Nolan loaded the bases. Max Dutto drove in two with a bouncing double pulled up the right field line. With two outs, Tyler Frost made it a five-run margin with a two-run single to left.
The Voyagers tied a season-high in hits with 16. Tyler Frost went 3-for-4 with three RBIs. Hanleth Otano also collected three hits with an RBI and a run. Craig Dedelow, Franklin Reyes, and Justin Yurchak all had two-hit games. For the Osprey, Keshawn Lynch finished 3-for-4 with two RBIs.

The Voyagers went 6-for-13 with runners in scoring position. Behind the plate, Nate Nolan had two caught stealing.
