NEW ORLEANS (August 1, 2012) - The New Orleans VooDoo assaulted the team record books in 2012, setting over 40 individual, team, and career bench marks. The 2012 season also earned the VooDoo its second postseason berth in franchise history - a great starting point for Head Coach Pat O'Hara heading into his second year in 2013.
"I am proud of this team and coaching staff for accomplishing a lot this season. We have some solid ground to build from for next season. Changing a culture does not happen overnight, but after going to the playoffs and making some strides, I am confident that we are headed in the right direction as an organization," said O'Hara.
Below are all the team and individual records set in the 2012 season.
Team Milestones:
Second playoff berth in franchise history.
Ending a 12-game home losing streak (spanning 2008, 2011 and 2012) on Friday, April 6 vs. Tampa Bay Storm.
Most consecutive road games won (3).
First time in franchise history to have three receivers each with over 1,000 receiving yards.
First time in franchise history to have three receivers each with over 20 receiving touchdowns.
