Voice Your Choice, and Select the Knighthawks' Bobblehead

(Rochester, October 12)... For the first time in team history, fans will have an opportunity to choose the Rochester Knighthawks' player whose bobblehead will be given away at a game this year. Fans can select their favorite player via the team's official Facebook page from Wednesday, October 12th through to Friday, October 21st.
"We know that fans love giveaway items and bobbleheads are always a big hit," said Knighthawks President Lewis Staats. "We decided that it would be fun to let the fans have a say in what player is chosen this year as we get ready for another exciting season of Knighthawks lacrosse."
The Knighthawks player that receives the most votes will have his own bobblehead night during the 2012 National Lacrosse League season. The team will produce 2,000 likenesses of the player to be handed out on Saturday, February 4th as the Knighthawks host the Minnesota Swarm. The complete promotional schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.
In the past, the Rochester Knighthawks have produced bobbleheads of Pat O'Toole and Cody Jamieson.
The Knighthawks will open the home portion of their schedule on Saturday, January 21st against the Buffalo Bandits at 7:30 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena. This season, the BCA will welcome its millionth Knighthawks' fan to watch the team continue its legacy as one of Rochester's foremost professional sports franchises.
