Vision to host Media/Family Day

ATLANTA, GA-Days before beginning training camp, the Atlanta Vision will host their 1st annual media day. Unlike others, the Vision will not only host members of local and national media but also offer free family entertainment.

'I'm really excited to join the Atlanta Vision as general manager the up coming season. I think with those coming to training camp are going to have a solid team and I'm very lucky to have the smart defensive leadership of head coach Kevin Whitted to lead the way for this Great season to come," said Dennis Scott, Georgia Tech hall of Fame inductee.

The Dekalb Chamber of Commerce will kick off the event with an official ribbon cutting ceremony. The Samson's Fitness and Health Center, 6400 Woodrow Road, Lithonia, will be full of activity including face painting, an inflatable basketball game, giveaways and a special appearance by 'Ace," the official Dekalb County Police Department mascot. Onlookers will also enjoy a performance by the Vision dance team, a public practice from the team and a slam-dunk exhibition.

Media stations will provide media an opportunity to interview, General Manager Dennis '3D" Scott, best known for his record at Georgia Technical Institute, Head Coach Kevin Whitted, the scoring leader at E.A. Laney High School (surpassing Michael Jordan) and members of the training camp roster. A question and answer session with Scott and Whitted, will allow fans the opportunity to inquirer about the upcoming season and the road to a championship.

To conclude the festivities fans will have the opportunity to obtain autographs from the training camp roster and dancers.
