
Vipers Strike Deal with the VBC

Huntsville, Alabama â April 28, 2004âthe Von Braun Center announced today that a new deal has been finalized with Art Clarkson Owner/President of the Tennessee Valley Vipers.
In 2000 the Tennessee Valley Vipers signed a three-year deal with the Von Braun Center and Arena Football 2 was born in the Tennessee Valley. A loyal fan base has proven the premise that Huntsville and the Tennessee Valley is an ideal market for this entertaining hard-hitting action. The new deal assures the Vipers play in the VBC through 2005 and may be extended by the Vipers through the 2006 season. VBC Executive Director, Ron Evans said, "Art Clarkson is a great minor league sports promoter and we are looking forward to continuing the working relationship between the Vipers and the VBC.
"I'm very pleased with the new deal we negotiated with the Von Braun Center", says Art Clarkson, Owner/President of the Tennessee Valley Vipers. "Both organizations are on the same page now and we look forward to a successful partnership and to playing in the Von Braun Center for many years to come."
