Wichita Stealth News Release
Wichita, Kan. - Even though the undefeated Wichita Stealth arena football team is having their bye week on the field, they are still hard at work making themselves visible in the community. The Stealth organization will be out in the community this weekend meeting and greeting arena football fans.
On Saturday, May 1st, members of the Wichita Stealth dance team, the Bomb Squad, and staff will be at Quizno's (240 S. West Street) from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Dance team members will be on hand to sign autographs and staff will be available to answer any questions that fans have about the Wichita Stealth and arena football.
Also on Saturday, from noon until 3:00 p.m., members of the Stealth will be at the Riverlawn Church "Spring Blast" (4243 N. Meridian) selling tickets and helping Riverlawn Church with their events during the day. There will be a car show, a motorcycle show, helicopter rides, and moonwalk inflatables for the children to play on.
Then on Saturday night, the Stealth mascot, Ace, will be attending the Wichita Wranglers baseball game for Mascot Mania night. Ace will be at the game beginning at 6:00 p.m. with the game beginning at 7:00 p.m.
STEALTH NOTES: After this week's bye, the Stealth will hit the road for three weeks when they travel to face the Rio Grande Valley Dorados on May 8th, the Quad City Steamwheelers on May 15th, and the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz on May 22nd.The next Stealth home game is set for May 29th versus the Laredo Law. The Stealth defeated the Law on April 10th 44-22 in Wichita.Tickets are available for all remaining Stealth home games by calling 316.755.3307 or Select-A-Seat at 316.755.SEAT (7328).A bus trip for Wichita Stealth fans has been scheduled for the games in Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
