
Vipers hire coach, announce radio

HUNTSVILLE, AL - Tennessee Valley Vipers head coach, Chris Williams, announced today that Gary Patterson will serve as the teams Co-Offensive Coordinator for the upcoming season, a position he will share with Williams.
Patterson has coached football at every level over the past ten years. He worked under Coach Williams in 2004 and 2005 where served as the offensive/defensive line coach and special teams coordinator. During that time, his offense line helped guide the offensive unit to a top 5 ranking total offense. On the other side of the ball, Patterson's defensive front led the league in total sacks to go along with an overall first place ranking in total defense. Over a two year span Patterson tutored seven lineman who went on to sign contracts with AFL teams.
The Vipers announced that WUMP-730 will once again serve as the flagship station for all home and away games with Thom Abraham bringing you all the action. The games will also be carried on WVNN 770/92.5.
The Vipers have also been assigned former South Carolina State defensive end, Tito Hannah, and released offensive specialist, Tyreak Saviour.
