Vigilante Returns to Gwinnett

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that forward Mike Vigilante has been reassigned to the Gladiators from the American Hockey League's Portland Pirates.

Vigilante returns to the Gladiators where he lead the team in scoring before being called up to Portland on November 29th. Vigilante also held the longest point-scoring streak on the Gladiators and in the ECHL at the time of his recall at 13 consecutive games.

In 59 regular season games for the Pirates, Vigilante tallied 6 goals and 11 assists for 17 points in the American Hockey League. The third year pro out of Lake Superior State recorded 2 goals in 7 post season games for the Pirates who defeated the Providence Bruins 2 games to none in the first round of the AHL Calder Cup Playoffs before being beaten by the Hartford Wolfpack 4 games to 1 in the second round.

In 18 games with the Gladiators before his recall on November 29th, Vigilante tallied 4 goals and 14 assists for 18 points.

Vigilante will be available for the Gladiators in Game #4 of the Western Conference Finals on Wednesday, May 5th at 9:05 p.m. in Idaho.
