
Victoria Salmon Kings team up with Molson

Training camp opens tomorrow, a sure sign that the kick-off of the inaugural season of the Victoria Salmon Kings is just days away. The excitement also continues to build off the ice. Today the Victoria Salmon Kings are proud to announce Molson Canada as their newest partner.
"Molson says âhockey' in Canada and as the only Canadian franchise in the ECHL we are proud to add a partner that is as excited about hockey as we are," says Ken Noakes, Director of Sales and Marketing for the Victoria Salmon Kings. "We're looking forward to a great year and we're thrilled to have Molson join our line-up to bring the fans an exciting season," he added.
Dave Wingate, Victoria sales representative, Molson, shares the excitement, "Molson is known for its association with sports and we're proud to build on that connection by partnering with this local Victoria team. We have a long history of supporting our national pastime and this partnership is another example of that commitment."
The Victoria Salmon Kings open their season in Bakersfield, CA on Friday October 22, 2004. The Salmon Kings' first home game takes place on Sunday December 5, 2004 at Bear Mountain Arena.
