1 – "HOT STOVE" BANQUET AND AUCTION ON-LINE AUCTION OPEN

The "Hot Stove" Banqeut and Auction on-line auction can be found from now until January 21st at www.vermontexpos.com. Bid on autograph baseballs, photos and hats, along with bobblehead dolls, team card sets and gift packs from a variety of major and minor league teams. You can purchase tickets on-line for the "Hot Stove" Banquet and Auction, to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which takes place at the Wyndham Hotel in downtown Burlington on Saturday, January 22nd.

2 – HOT TOPIC OF THE WEEK QUESTION NOW ON WEBSITE

You can find a new feature on the Expos website with the "Hot Topic of the Week". Check the website each week to answer different poll questions about the Vermont Expos, New York-Penn League, Washington Nationals and Major League baseball. If you go to www.vermontexpos.com right now you can vote on which former Vermont Expos player just added to the Washington Nationals 40-man roster will reach the major leagues first: Larry Broadway, Michael Hinckley, Darrell Rasner or Dan Rueckel?

3 – FORMER VERMONT EXPOS COMING AND GOINGS IN THE MAJORS

There has been plenty of player movement in Major League baseball over the past couple of weeks and some former Vermont Expos players were involved. Orlando Cabrera signed with the Anaheim Angels as a free agent, while Geoff Blum signed with the San Diego Padres. Val Pascucci will spend the 2005 in Japan after being sold to a team their by Washington, while the Nationals also gave Chad Bentz his unconditional release. Another former Vermont Expos pitcher recently released was Scott Strickland by the New York Mets.
