Verizon, Greenway Clinic and Sport Wave get behind state's largest soccer camp

MILWAUKEE (June 11, 2008) -- The Milwaukee Wave have reached agreement with three new Summer Soccer Camp sponsors, the club has announced.

A deal with Sportables LLC will make Sport Wave vitamin infused water the official water of the Wave. Sport Wave is a great-tasting, vitamin-fortified water that comes in two flavors, Berry Bash and Cherry Slam. The 12-oz. bottles contain no high fructose corn syrup and no artificial colors or sweeteners.

Sport Wave will be served instead of soda at camp lunches, providing a healthier alternative for campers. The Wave also will sell Sport Wave at camps and at select appearances throughout Wisconsin.

Greenway Clinic of Children's Hospital of Wisconsin is the only full-service sports medicine program just for kids. Services include pediatric orthopedics, sports medicine, radiology and physical therapy in a state-of-the-art gym. The clinic is one block south of Oklahoma Avenue on 103rd Street. All of these new partners will help support the camps' mission of safe and fun soccer instruction from professional players. They join longstanding partners such as Time Warner Cable, We Energies and Cousins Subs.

The Milwaukee Wave Summer Soccer Camps are the largest soccer camp program in Wisconsin. More than 30 locations host almost 60 camps for all ages and skill levels. In addition to half- and full-day offerings, there are overnight camps, specialty camps, a futsal academy in Wisconsin Dells and a placekicking camp in Whitefish Bay.
