The Las Vegas 51s belted out five home runs on their way to a 13-6 win over the Salt Lake Bees on Tuesday night.

The Bees immediately took a 1-0 lead in the first, as Jose Miguel Fernandez hit the third pitch of the game over the right field wall for his 13th homer of the season and they would add one more on an RBI single by Bo Way. Las Vegas came back in the bottom of the first with three runs on back to back homers; a two run homer by Bryce Brentz and a solo shot by Patrick Kivlehan. Salt Lake would come back and take a 4-3 lead in the second inning on a two run double by Matt Thaiss. Las Vegas would break the game open with seven runs, four of them unearned, in the bottom of the second for a 10-4 lead.

Salt Lake starter Osmer Morales (4-4) took the loss, as he went just one and two-third innings and allowed nine runs, six earned, on seven hits with two strikeouts, one walk and three home runs allowed. Offensively, the Bees banged out thirteen hits and were led by Jared Walsh, who led three hits, including a double. Walsh now has seventeen hits and eighteen RBI in his last twelve games. Fernandez, Way and Jose Rojas each added two hits and one run batted in. With his two hits, Way extended his hitting streak to seven games and he's had two or more hits in five of those games.
