The Sonoma Stompers homered four times in the seventh, starting with back-to-back-to-back big flies to begin the frame, on the way to an 11-4 defeat of the Admirals at Wilson Park. The closely contested game turned into a rout after that, and enabled Kenny Mathews to win his first start of the year for Sonoma.

Starter Jalen Miller Sr. had pitched decently for Vallejo until he yielded the trio of homers to Miles Williams, Daniel Comstock, and Kenny Meimersdorf. Cage Cascone struck out two in relief of Miller but allowed the final home run of the seventh to Kevin Farley. It was the first time all year the Stompers had homered four times in a game. With the loss, Miller dropped to 0-4.

Williams increased his home run total for the year to 16, second in the league this season. The Admirals' Nick Akins Sr. hit his 20th round-tripper of the year in the first inning. In doing so, Akins moved into a tie for third place among single-season PacPro home-run hitters, matching the 2017 mark of the Pacifics' Jake Taylor.

The Admirals' 1-0 lead lasted until the fourth, when Farley drove in Meimersdorf with an unearned run. Sonoma took the lead for good in the fifth on Comstock's RBI double and Meimersdorf's two-RBI single. Williams' day featured a 4-for-5 at the plate, and Meimersdorf drove in four, along with Comstock's three ribbies. Farley knocked in two as well. For Vallejo, Brandon Fischer had a good day at the bat, going 2-for-4 with two driven in and a home run. Cyle Figueroa went 3-for-4 with an RBI, and Brandon Pugh added a 2-for-4, one-RBI effort. The Admirals lost ground to both the Stompers and the San Rafael Pacifics in the pennant race.
