The Vallejo Admirals have clinched third place in the Pacific Association. Do you know what that means? Playoff baseball at Wilson Park!
The Admirals will host the Napa Silverados on Wednesday, August 28 at 6:35 p.m. The winner of that game will play at San Rafael the next night with the winner of that game facing the Sonoma Stompers in a three-game series for the title!
The Admirals won the 2017 Pacific Association championship and are making their third consecutive appearance in the league playoffs. This will be the first home playoff game in franchise history!

Book signing highlights final homestand
The Admirals open their final regular season homestand tonight when they host the Salina Stockade at 6:35 p.m. On Friday, the Napa Silverados come to town at 6:35 and on Saturday, San Rafael is on the docket at 5:05 p.m.
On Friday and Saturday, John and Vicki Hoppin will be at Wilson Park signing copies of their books about minor league baseball, "Ballpark 2 Ballpark: Journey Through the Minor Leagues" volumes 1 and 2. The Hoppins sold their Silicon Valley home and hopped into their RV and traveled across the United States visiting small towns and big cities, collecting all of the experiences in minor league baseball. The result is two volumes packed with stories about zany attractions, unique foods and the family-friendly atmosphere of the great American game. Four-plus seasons, 160 parks and interviews with over 800 fans highlight the books.
