SANDY, Utah - Utah Royals FC returns home to take on Portland Thorns FC for the second time this season on Friday, July 19 at 8:00 p.m. MT.
DF Kelley O'Hara (USA), FW Christen Press (USA) and DF Becky Sauerbrunn (USA) have all rejoined Utah Royals FC ahead of Friday's match after winning the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup with the United States Women's National Team. All three players will be available for selection by Head Coach Laura Harvey, marking the first match since late April that Harvey has had all six World Cup participants available for selection.
In its last match, Utah Royals FC fell 1-0 to Sky Blue FC on the road behind a last-minute goal to give Utah its first-ever loss to the New Jersey side.
URFC enters Friday's match with a 0-2-2 (2 points) all-time record against Portland Thorns FC. Most recently Royals FC played to a 0-0 draw at Providence Park, holding the Thorns scoreless at home for the first time since 2016.
