Utah Blaze Announces 2013 Schedule

SALT LAKE CITY - In an official announcement coming early Tuesday morning, the Arena Football League released its 19-week schedule for the 2013 season. The Utah Blaze opens the 2013 season on the road against the Pittsburgh Power on Saturday, March 23rd at 5:00pm MT.

Utah returns to EnergySolutions Arena the following week for its home opener on Friday, March 29th at 7:30pm MT against the Arizona Rattlers in a rematch of the 2012 National Conference Championship. The matchup against Arizona is the first contest in a three-game home stand for the Blaze.

The Arena Football League office also announced it has reached a two-year television agreement with CBS Sports Network. As part of the deal, CBS Sports Network will televise the League's Saturday night game of the week in prime time. The announcement of the complete CBS Sports Network AFL television schedule will be released at a later date.
