USL Summer Showcase Features Multiple Touchpoints for Louisville Community and Soccer Fans

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The United Soccer League today announced an exciting slate of community and fan events as part of next month's inaugural USL Summer Showcase in Louisville. The Summer Showcase is a new marquee event on the American soccer calendar and culminates in the nationally televised USL Championship regular season contest between Louisville City FC and Phoenix Rising FC on July 20 at Lynn Family Stadium (7 p.m. ET | ESPN2).

USL SUMMER SHOWCASE EVENTS AND ACTIVATIONS:

Youth Soccer Clinic - The USL, Louisville City FC, Louisville Sports Commission, and Louisville Metro Parks will bring a youth soccer clinic to Lynn Family Stadium on Tuesday, July 19. As part of the event, the USL will donate 100 soccer balls to the Sports Commission's "Playing it Forward" program that provides new and/or gently used sporting equipment kids in marginalized neighborhoods and helps eliminate the cost of equipment as a barrier to participating in organized sports. Louisville City FC players are scheduled to appear to interact with the kids. Media interested in covering the event should contact LouCity's Jonathan Lintner and USL's Joe Culotta.

"The Warmup" - Fans are invited to join the USL for a night of soccer fun and friends on Tuesday, July 19, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., at Noble Funk Brewing Company. The main event is a live broadcast of the weekly SiriusXM FC show "USL All Access," hosted by Mike Watts and Devon Kerr. Fan Fest - On Wednesday, fans with tickets to the match are encouraged to arrive early at Lynn Family Stadium and enjoy an array of activities, displays and giveaways from USL and LouCity FC partners at a special Fan Fest outside of Gates 4 and 5. The Fan Fest begins at 5 p.m. and is open to those with valid match tickets.

Hisense - The official Television of the USL will be showcasing this season's ULED 4KTV line-up with opportunities for fans to win scarves, soccer balls and bucket hats. Bring a friend and test your skills at foosball or SubSoccer for the chance to win additional prizes, including items autographed by LouCity players.

SELECT - The official match ball of the USL will have its lineup of professional-level soccer balls, interactive activities, exclusive discount codes, and opportunities to win prizes, including an Official USL Championship Match Ball.

Bellevue University- Shoot your shot with the official education partner of the USL for a chance to win some fun summer gear including clear stadium bags, face stickers, reusable straw keychains, and Bellevue Bruin koozies.

Cleer Audio - Stop by and check out some award-winning performance headphones and speakers from the official audio partner of the USL.

eFootball - Compete and show off your skills at the gaming truck sponsored by eFootball, the official video game partner of the USL. Choose your favorite USL Championship team, players, and kits in this special, limited time, in-game experience.

Fan Fest also will feature activations from Louisville Bats, Kentucky Derby Museum, Kentucky Science Center, Louisville Mega Cavern, Muhammad Ali Center, and the Louisville Sports Commission.
