USL Discipline Report: Week 15
July 1, 2015 - United Soccer League Championship (USL) News Release
TAMPA, Fla. - Following is the USL's discipline report for Week 15 of the 2015 season:
Six players and two coaching staff members will serve one-game suspensions for the upcoming week and will be fined an undisclosed amount for their violations.
Pittsburgh Riverhounds midfielder Danny Earls and defender Willie Hunt will be unavailable for Saturday's match against the New York Red Bulls II at Highmark Stadium. Earls was ejected for unsporting behavior and Hunt received two yellow cards and was ejected from last week's 1-0 loss against the Rochester Rhinos. Pittsburgh head coach Mark Steffens and assistant coach Niko Katic were sent off during that match and will not be on the sidelines against NYRBII.
The Charleston Battery's Quinton Griffith is suspended for Friday's game against Rochester at Blackbaud Stadium following his ejection against the Harrisburg City Islanders. OKC Energy FC's Sebastian Dalgaard, who was red-carded during last week's road match against Louisville City FC, is suspended for Wednesday's game against Orange County Blues FC.
Sacramento Republic FC's Mickey Daly and FC Montreal's Jeremy Gagnon-Laparé will each be suspended for a match because of yellow card accumulation. Daly is out for Wednesday's game against Real Monarchs SLC and Gagnon-Laparé will miss the July 8 road game against Rochester.
