TAMPA, Fla. - The following is the USL's discipline report for Week 7 of the 2018 United Soccer League season:
San Antonio FC's Kris Tyrpak has been suspended for one game after his red card for violent conduct against Fresno FC following a review by the Independent Discipline Committee that reduced the suspension from three games. Tyrpak will be unavailable for Friday's game with Las Vegas Lights FC.
Tulsa Roughnecks FC's Claudio Munoz will serve a one-game suspension for his red card for violent conduct against Fresno FC on April 18 following a review by the Independent Discipline Committee that reduced the suspension from three games. Munoz will be unavailable for Saturday's game against Sacramento Republic FC.
Five players will serve one-game suspensions after being sent off for receiving two yellow cards during the past week. Rio Grande Valley FC's Matias Zaldivar will be unavailable for Wednesday's game against Orange County SC, Phoenix Rising FC's Kevon Lambert will be unavailable for Saturday's game against Fresno FC, OKC Energy FC's Justin Chavez will be unavailable for Saturday's game with Reno 1868 FC, Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC's Luke Vercollone will be unavailable for Saturday's game against Orange County SC and Seattle Sounders FC 2's Ray Saari will be unavailable for May 6's game against Sacramento Republic FC.
Three players have served their suspensions for red cards received during the past week. The Portland Timbers 2's Lamar Batista served a one-game suspension for his red card on April 18 this past Saturday against Reno 1868 FC, and Fresno FC's Rony Argueta and Ramon Martin Del Campo each served a one-game suspension for their red cards on April 18 this past Sunday against San Antonio FC.
The following players enter the upcoming matches one caution away from a yellow card accumulation suspension. A fifth caution would result in a one-game suspension and undisclosed fine. Here is the breakdown per club:
