Fisher picked up seven points on the week. He had a goal (GWG) and three assists in a 5-3 win over Des Moines and added two (PPG) goals and an assist in an 8-4 loss to Tri-City. Runner-Up: Greg Squires of Indiana (3 GP, 3-4-7, +5, 12 SOG)

Olimb scored a pair of goals on the week. He had a goal in a 6-3 win over Chicago on Friday and added another goal, the game winner, in a 9-1 win over Chicago Sunday. He finished +3. Runner-Up: Tommy Mannino of Tri-City (3 GP, 0-4-4, +3, 8 SOG)

Highland, Mich.

Hogan went 2-0-0 on the week. He made 22 saves in a 3-2 win over Tri-City and went 3-3 in the shootout. He then made 38 saves in a 1-0 win over Sioux City. He had a 0.92 GAA and a .968 SV%. Runner-Up: Michal Valent of Omaha (2GP, 1-0-0, 1.22, .944)

USHL Handful Road Warriors: The visiting team won all five games played on Sunday...Ice Put On Ice: Indiana became the fourth team eliminated from Anderson Cup consideration. Even though they can still finish with 71 points, they have already lost the tiebreaker with Omaha...Shooting Stars: Lincoln is currently riding a nine-game winning streak at home, the longest such streak in the USHL this season...Century Mark: Wednesday s eight-goal outburst gave Ohio 103 goals for the season, making them the last team to reach the 100-goal mark...A Log Jam: It looks like the presentation of the Anderson Cup is going to go down to the final weekend, with eight teams still alive in the race and all of them separated by just ten points.

USHL NOTEBOOK

Cedar Rapids: Dan Dries has goals in three straight games and has 12 goals in the 21 games he s played since joining the RoughRiders.

Chicago: Andy Miele had a goal and an assist in a 4-3 loss to Cedar Rapids. They were the first two points he picked up against his former team. He s also scored in five straight games.

Des Moines: Aaron Palushaj snapped a seven-game goal drought by scoring once in Des Moines 4-3 shootout win over Sioux City.

Green Bay: Adam Avramenko had 32 saves in Green Bay s 3-2 win over Des Moines Tuesday. More impressively, he made eight saves in shutting down the Buccaneers in the shootout. Derrick LaPoint had a pair of assists in the game.

Indiana: Greg Squires had a seven-point weekend for the Ice, including two goals and two assists in a 6-3 win over Chicago. Matt Smith had three assists, his first multi-point game of the season, in Sunday s 9-1 win over Chicago.

Lincoln: Stephen Schultz scored two goals 18 second apart in the third period and scored in the shootout to help Lincoln beat Tri-City 3-2 on Friday.

Ohio: Sean McAuley had his first career three-point game in Ohio s 8-3 win over Indiana. The eight goals set a season-high for Ohio.

Omaha: Drew Palmisano committed to Michigan State. He s the third goaltender in recent years to commit to the Spartans. Dominic Vicari and Jeff Lerg are the others. Mark Olver had two goals and three points on the week.

Sioux City: Kevin Lohry scored the Musketeers lone goal in Saturday s 4-1 loss to Waterloo. The goal broke seven-game goal drought.

Sioux Falls: Drew Fisher posted seven points on the weekend. He had a goal and three assists in a 5-3 win over Des Moines and two goals and an assist in an 8-4 loss to Tri-City.

Tri-City: Alex Hudson had a goal and an assist in Sunday s 8-4 win over Sioux Falls. He had five points on the week and has a four-game scoring streak.

Waterloo: James Marcou has extended his scoring streak to 10 games. He has points in 22 of the Black Hawks 27 games played in 2007 and is now sixth in the league in scoring with 62 points.

NCAA ALUMNI NEWS

Chris Porter (Lincoln) scored the overtime winner for North Dakota Sunday, sending them to their third consecutive Frozen Four. He was also named the most outstanding player the west regional.

Tim Kennedy (Sioux City) scored his 17th goal of the season, which was also the game winner in a 2-1 win over Notre Dame to send the Spartans to their first Frozen Four since 2001.

Ryan Thang (Sioux Falls) scored the game winning goal in double overtime giving Notre Dame a 3-2 win over Alabama- Huntsville in their first-ever NCAA tournament game.

Brock Bradford (Omaha) had three points including his 19th goal of the season as Boston College beat St. Lawrence 4-1. The next day the Eagles advanced to the Frozen Four with a 4-0 win over Miami.

PROFESSIONAL ALUMNI NEWS

Joe Piskula (Des Moines) signed with Los Angeles after three years at Wisconsin and made his NHL debut two days later against Chicago.

Brett Engelhardt (Green Bay) had four points for the Toronto Marlies in their 5-3 win over Grand Rapids, making him one of Sunday s AHL Three Stars.

Jeremy Downs (Omaha) was a member of the Central Hockey League regular season champion Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs.

Adam Berkhoel (Twin Cities) has the lowest goals against average in the ECHL at 2.31.

Bill Thomas (Tri-City) scored the game winning goal for Phoenix against Anaheim on March 22. It was his first career game winning goal.
