Players of the Week: William Whitelaw (Youngstown/USHL Forward of the Week) tallied seven points on four goals and three assists. The Rosemount, Minn., native had a goal and two assists in a win over Madison last Saturday.

Ren Morque (Sioux City/USHL Defenseman of the Week) had the game-winning goal, scored twice and was +4 in a 4-2 win over Lincoln last Friday.

Jacob Fowler (Youngstown/USHL Goaltender of the Week) went 2-0-0 with a 1.50 GAA and .944 sv% in two games last week. Boston College commit had 33 saves to earn league-best fourth shutout of the season in win over Madison last Saturday. This marks the third time Fowler has been named USHL Goaltender of the Week this year.

Where Do You Stand?: Having gone 7-3-0-0 in its last 10 games, Fargo currently features the league's best record (22-8-0-3) and point total (47) through 33 games. Waterloo (21-12-0-0) has also gone 7-3-0-0 in its last 10 and ranks second in the Western Conference with 42 points.

Chicago is 5-5-0-0 in its last 10 games and has 46 points to rank first in the Eastern Conference standings. With 40 points, Green Bay (19-11-1-1) stands second in the Eastern Conference. The Gamblers at 7-3-0-0 in their last 10 games.

One After Another: A pair of Lincoln Stars head into the weekend riding eight-game point-scoring streaks in Mason Marcellus (3-9--12) and Tanner Ludtke (6-6--12). Cedar Rapids forward Ryan Walsh has at least one point in his last seven games played (1-10-11).

Frosty Cup: The Fargo Force (22-8-0-3, 47 points), the United States Hockey League's (USHL) top team this season, and the Tri-City Storm (16-13-0-3, 35 points) square-off in a pair of regular season games highlighting the fourth annual USHL Frosty Cup in Dallas this week.

Now in its fourth year, the USHL Frosty Cup, a premier youth hockey event, is hosted annually at the Comerica Center in Frisco, Tex., by the USHL and Dallas Stars. This year's installment features 43 youth teams from 13 states descending on The Lone Star State, and is highlighted by a pair of regular season USHL games. #CarlsonWatch: Cedar Rapids head coach Mark Carlson has racked up 749 career wins behind the RoughRiders bench. Carlson, who began his tenure with Cedar Rapids in 1999-2000, ranks only behind P.K. O'Handley in terms of most coaching wins in the history of the United States Hockey League. O'Handley had 783 victories as the head coach for Waterloo and North Iowa.

With 329 career wins, Tri-City's Anthony Noreen ranks 10th on the USHL's list for career coaching victories. Noreen, who guided the Storm to the 2021-22 Anderson Cup, was last season's USHL Coach of the Year.

USHL NHL Alumni: Former Green Bay forward Anders Lee, who played for the Gamblers in 2009-10, is in his 11th season with the New York Islanders. Lee, who is in his fifth season serving as captain of the Islanders, has registered 229-170--339 in 645 games in the NHL.
