RBK USHL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Mike Cichy - Indiana Ice

New Hartford, Connecticut

College - North Dakota NHL - Undrafted

The leading scorer of the Tri-City Storm was traded to Indiana last week and made an immediate impression. In his first game with the Ice, Cichy scored the game-winning goal and had three assists in a 6-2 win over Chicago on Friday. On Saturday, he did it again, scoring a goal and adding three assists in an 8-4 loss to Green Bay. In addition to the eight points, Cichy was +1 and had seven shots on goal.

CCM USHL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Alex Stuart - Sioux City Musketeers

Sauk Rapids, Minnesota

College - Uncommitted NHL - Undrafted

Stuart had a good week on the blue line and helped the Musketeers win three games, extending their winning streak to four games. On Wednesday, Stuart had an assist in a 2-1 win over Lincoln. Friday, he had a goal and an assist in a 12-4 win over Tri-City. He added another assist in a 4-3 shootout win over Cedar Rapids on Saturday. Stuart was also +3 for the week.

Eric Hartzell - Sioux Falls Stampede

White Bear Lake, Minnesota

College - Uncommitted NHL - Undrafted

Hartzell takes home the honor for the second straight week, helping the Stampede win two games and extending their winning streak to four games. On Friday, Hartzell made 31 saves as the Stampede won 5-1 at Lincoln. Saturday night he made 30 saves as Sioux Falls beat Tri-City 6-1 at home. Hartzell was 2-0-0 for the week, with a 1.00 goals against average and a .968 save percentage.
