USHL Approves Transfer of Ownership of the Omaha Lancers

RALSTON, NE - The Omaha Lancers are pleased to announce that the United States Hockey League (USHL) has approved the sale of a majority interest in American Hockey Group, Inc., the parent company of the Omaha Lancers, to Crossbar Down, LLC, effective immediately. Crossbar Down, LLC is owned and controlled by Anthony "Koots" DiCesare. Existing Omaha investors, including Ben Robert, will retain a minority ownership position in the team.
"The USHL is excited to bring in this new owner. We're privileged to have someone of Koots' focus, integrity, and energy joining the USHL family", said USHL Commissioner Bob Fallen. "His skill set will only serve to enhance the strong values that American Hockey Group, LLC has implemented over the past 10 years. We extend thanks and best wishes to outgoing Managing Partner, Beno=EEt Robert, for his able stewardship of the team over the past several years."
"I'm very happy to transfer the management of the team to Koots as I know he will prove equal to the task", said Beno=EEt Robert. "I will always wear the team's logo close to my heart as a souvenir of this beautiful journey with the Omaha Lancers and of the experience I've acquired as Managing Partner of the team which will serve me well in my future endeavors as President of Montréal-based Quebecor Sports and Entertainment."

"Ben, his partners, Mayor Groessor, and the exceptional hockey, front office and arena staffs in place have created in Ralston a first-class operation for Omaha Lancers fans. The Lancers hit the road this weekend for a pair of games on Friday at Des Moines and Saturday at Cedar Rapids. Puck drops at 7:05PM on both nights.
