
US Open Cup Tickets on Sale

Fort Lauderdale Strikers News Release
Fort Lauderdale, FL (May 13, 2014) - The Fort Lauderdale Strikers have announced that tickets to the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup third round match on May 28th at 7:30 p.m. at Lockhart Stadium are now on sale. The Strikers will play the winner of the May 14th match-up between the Laredo Heat and Red Force FC. Should the Strikers win their May 28th match, they will then take on a Major League Soccer team the week of June 10-18.
Last year the Strikers took on the Laredo Heat at Lockhart Stadium and played them to a 1-1 draw in regular time. The Strikers went on to win the game on penalty kicks as Strikers goalkeeper Matt Glaeser was able to stop two Laredo shots in a row and Toni Stahl clinched the win for the home team. The Strikers then went on to take on FC Dallas of MLS and after going into the locker-room with a 0-0 tie, they gave up two second-half goals to the MLS squad and were eliminated from the US Open Cup 2-0.
Season Ticket holders already received tickets to the May 28th US Open Cup game in their season ticket package and can purchase additional tickets at a discount by calling their ticket reps at 954-606-0400.
General Admission tickets to the US Open Cup game will be $12 in advanced and $15 at the gate, and Reserved Tickets will be $20 in advance and $25 at the gate. Parking for the game will be Free. To purchase tickets visit www.strikers.com or call 954-606-0400.
