North Iowa Outlaws News Release
Mason City (IA) Break out that old pair of boots, maybe even dust off that ten gallon hat from a Halloween costume party a few years back, because this Saturday January 24, Outlaws' Nation is going Country! The North Iowa Outlaws are presenting "Urban Cowboy" Night during their game versus the Albert Lea Thunder this Saturday at 7:30pm at the North Iowa Ice Arena.
All fans are encouraged to come to the game wearing cowboy boots (sans the spurs) and cowboy hats as the Outlaws will turn the evening into a western theme. The game will feature nothing but country music during stoppages in play, there will be a special line dancing version of "dance for your dinner" a promotion to determine the best cowboy hat in the stands and much more.
Sunday Discount Tickets Available
The Outlaws will also play their first Sunday home game of the season on January 25th when they face the Bismarck Bobcats at 5pm, with discount tickets available. As a way of saying thanks to some over-worked individuals, the Outlaws are doing their part to pay homage to them on the only evening many of them have off.
Sunday is "Service Industry Professionals" night with all fans who work in the service industry eligible for 50% off their ticket. Any fan who works in retail or food service should bring their pay stub (to prove employment) to the game to receive their discount.
Examples of those eligible include, but limited to, waiters, cooks, cash register attendants, stockers, janitorial staff, etc.
Don't work in the service industry? Have no fear, because there is another way to receive a discounted ticket. Any fan who brings in their church bulletin or weekly flyer, will receive $1 admission to the game.
The Outlaws currently lead the North American Hockey League's Central Division with a record of 21-12-3.
