Dayton, Ohio-Jose Siri, Taylor Trammell, Tyler Stephenson, and Tony Santillan highlight an updated list of players expected to play for the Alumni Team in the Dayton Dragons 20th Season Celebration Game on Saturday. The game is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at Fifth Third Field and will match the 2019 Dragons against the Alumni Team. All players on the Alumni Team are still active within the Cincinnati Reds organization and previously played for the Dayton Dragons.

Siri, Trammell, Stephenson, and Santillan were all key players on the 2017 Dragons team that advanced to the semi-final round of the Midwest League playoffs. All four players are ranked among the top-10 prospects in the Reds organization with Trammell ranked as high as #2 on some lists.

Additional players on the Dragons Alumni Team include outfielders Narciso Crook, TJ Friedl, Brian O'Grady, Andy Sugilio, and Aristides Aquino; infielders Brantley Bell, Luis Gonzalez, Gavin LaValley, Bruce Yari, Alberti Chavez, Carlos Rivero, and Randy Ventura; catchers Hendrik Clementina, Cassidy Brown, Jose Duarte, Morgan Lofstrom, and Ernesto Liberatore; and pitchers Cory Thompson, Wennington Romero, Jesse Stallings, Mac Sceroler, Wendolyn Bautista, Moises Nova, Carlos Machorro, and Raul Wallace.

Interestingly, Siri will be joined at Fifth Third Field by former Dragon and Reds outfielder Austin Kearns, who will appear as a special guest. Siri and Kearns produced the two biggest seasons in Dragons history, 17 years apart. Siri starred for the Dragons in 2017 when his season included a Midwest League record 39-game hitting streak. Kearns was a member of the inaugural Dragons of 2000, when he enjoyed an incredible streak of home runs in eight straight games.

Among the 29 players on the Dragons Alumni Team are a former Reds first round draft pick (Stephenson), the Most Valuable Player of the 2018 SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game (Trammell), the Reds 2018 Minor League Hitter of the Year (Friedl), the Reds 2018 Minor League Pitcher of the Year (Santillan), a 2018 Midwest League Full-Season All-Star (Clementina), and the Dragons all-time career leader in games played (Gonzalez). The list also includes popular, multiple-year Dragons Crook and Bell.

Eight (8) players on the list played in their league's all-star game in 2018. They include Clementina, and Thompson with the Dragons; Trammell, Santillan, Stephenson, Friedl, and Bell with Advanced-A Daytona; and Aquino with Double-A Pensacola.
