JACKSONVILLE, FL - Tuesday, August 24 - United Football League Commissioner MICHAEL HUYGHUE will visit three UFL team training camps in the coming week.
Sacramento will be his first stop today as head coach DENNIS GREEN and the Mountain Lions hit the practice field for only the second time having kicked off training camp on Monday afternoon. The Commissioner will conduct media interviews and watch practice at the Harvard Corporate Center (2241 Harvard Street, Sacramento, CA, 95815) from 3.15pm to 4.45pm.
On Thursday, August 26, Commissioner Huyghue touches down in Las Vegas to attend Locos training camp at Sam Boyd Stadium (7000 E. Russell Road, Las Vegas, NV, 89122) from 8am to 10.15am.
The third part of his tour takes him to Omaha on Monday, August 30, when ANDREW SKWARA of Rocklin, Calif., who was the winner of the UFL 'Commissioner For a Day' contest, will join him at the Nighthawks' training camp at the Kroc Center (2825 Y Street, Omaha, NE, 68107) from 9am.
"I am excited to shadow the Commissioner for a day," said Sacramento Mountain Lions fan Skwara, who as part of his prize will also attend the '100 Yards of Glory' luncheon to celebrate a century of Omaha football history and additional activities. "I really want to represent the interests of all UFL supporters when I spend time with the Commissioner, not just the Mountain Lions."
