Union Omaha News Release
PAPILLION, Neb. - Union Omaha announced today a partnership with WOWT that will broadcast nine away matches, as well as both the home opener and closer, over the course of the 2022 USL League One season. The games will air on Circle TV, WOWT's digital channel. This is the first local broadcast deal in Union Omaha history and will aim to increase local viewership by providing another coverage option to those in the Omaha community.
"One of our priorities of the off-season was securing a local linear broadcast deal," Union Omaha General Manager Peter Marlette said. "It is something our fans have been calling for and will help us reach a wider audience in the region. We're thrilled to be able to bring our fans Union Omaha soccer at home without requiring a subscription."
"WOWT is excited to offer Union Omaha soccer matches on Circle 6.6 to viewers in our area," WOWT General Manager Jim McKernan said.
