October 25, 2006 - Continental Basketball Association 1 (CBA 1)
Minot Skyrockets News Release

Minot, ND - October 25, 2006 - The Skyrockets will be bringing Dale Miller into training camp to compete for the point guard position. Miller played for the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux in 1996 and has a vast history in professional basketball. He has played in the LNBP (Central America), the CBA (Rockford Lightning), the NBA D-League, the WBA, and other leagues around the world.

At 6'0" and 195 lbs., Dale Miller comes in with an exciting history of helping numerous teams succeed. "Last year we hit a rough spot where both of my point guards were injured at the same time. It was a disaster. We brought Dale in, and he performed admirably. He deserves a chance to win the job from the beginning," said Head Coach Chris Daleo.

Dale will arrive with the other veterans and rookies to begin camp in mid-November. "I played at UND, so I know the climate. I played for Coach Daleo, so I know his game. This is my big opportunity, and I don't intend to waste it."

Players will arrive in Minot in mid-November and training camp will begin November 17, 2006. The Skyrockets will open on the road against the Utah Eagles on December 1, 2006. The first home game will be on December 3, 2006 with tip-off at 4:05 pm against the Indiana Alleycats.
