
U.S. Cellular Coliseum Grand Opening Tomorrow

Bloomington, Illinois - The U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Downtown Bloomington will celebrate it's Grand Opening tomorrow with the first Bloomington Extreme Home Game against the Fort Wayne Freedom at 3:00PM.
A ribbon cutting ceremony conducted by the McLean County Chamber of Commerce will begin at 1:15PM with the Mayor of the City of Bloomington Steve Stockton, Central Illinois Arena Management Owners Mike Nelson and John Butler, Regional Vice President of U.S. Cellular Conrad Hunter and Johnston Contractors Owner Bill Johnston sharing their remarks about the project.
Doors will open to the general public at 1:30PM, following the ribbon cutting ceremony. The first 3,000 fans will receive a FREE t-shirt, compliments of U.S. Cellular and The Pantagraph. The inaugural Game-Day Program can be purchased inside the doors for $2.00.
At half time the first ball-tosses will be made by Mayor Stockton, former Mayor Judy Markowitz and Conrad Hunter with U.S. Cellular. "We'd like to honor everyone that has been involved in this project from day-one," said Nelson. "This is an exciting day for all of us."
