
Tyson Greenway and Adam Mechura Named Tri-City's Co-MVPs for 2023 Playoffs

Kennewick, WA - The Tri-City Americans have named 2003-born forwards Tyson Greenway and Adam Mechura team co-MVPs for the 2023 WHL Playoffs.
In six games against Prince George, Greenway scored a series-high five goals and one assist. It was the 19-year-old forward's first appearance in the playoffs through four seasons in the WHL. A native of St. Albert, Alta., Greenway was originally selected by Tri-City 80th overall in the 2018 WHL Prospects Draft.
Mechura had one goal and six assists in the six-game series. Tied for the most points with three Prince George Players: Zac Funk, Caden Brown, and Cole Dubinsky. Mechura, hailing from Czechia, was selected fourth overall in the 2022 CHL Import Draft.
