Texas Tycoons News Release

Fort Worth, TX. Charles Key, Owner of the ABA Texas Tycoons, announced that his team was in shape and ready to compete in the professional basketball league's season. According to Key, "We had our final pre-season game several days ago at our home court, WG Thomas Coliseum in Haltom City, and routed the Tarrant County Regulators, 124-36 - though the Regulators worked very hard and gave it their all. This gave us a pre-season record of 4-0."

The Tycoons were led by guard, Donald Harris with 37 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Harris had a spectacular night which saw him dazzle the crowd with several high flying slam dunks. He had plenty of help as point guard Jerome Rogers had 16 points, 6 assists. Chris Davis, Michael DeGrate and Ron Rutledge also scored in double figures.

The team will tip-off its 2004-2005 season against perennial ABA powerhouse Kansas City Knights led by Joe Crispin on Saturday night, November 20th at the WG Thomas Coliseum. For ticket information, call 817 4 Tycoon - or visit www.txtycoons.com or www.abalive.com.
